Flawless today. He's just totally press-proof. If we had 11 of him we'd have 90% possession. A great, calm head, great touch. Increasingly good going forward and today, seemed to win everything in the air, too.

Again my only concern is his lack of pace against teams which provide a genuine threat on the counter attack. Bournemouth didn't do that.

Passing and crossing is top notch and his positional awareness has improved a lot.

Pedro has pace. Hudson-Odoi has pace....

Rather than splurge another 200 million on players, perhaps it would be a good idea to get some of the players around 20 back and give them a season in and around the squad to see if they are up to it. They won't all be, for sure, but I reckon at least one will be.
