i knew he would stay and the club never pushed him out of the door, so with him playing anywhere down the left and middle he could be cover for 3 or 4 thats the type of player you need in a long hard season

Why should he be forced to move? He wants to stay and try to break into the team .fair play to him.

He still has a couple of weeks to see how the season starts and move to Europe, which he might prefer to Wolverhampton. Not sure he's said he wants to be at City this season, just that he doesn't want wolves.

I have a feeling that he has been in touch with City regarding us getting a midfielder in today or possibly a work permit for the other lad.
Either way, i would imagine he has heard something to give him reason to stay (for now).
It might even be that another club has shown interest.
