If he stays and wont even make the match squad for first 5-10 rounds of PL he might will think about today in different light.
i knew he would stay and the club never pushed him out of the door, so with him playing anywhere down the left and middle he could be cover for 3 or 4 thats the type of player you need in a long hard season
Wow... will you give me this weekends lottery numbers??
Well I doubt he is staying for money, he wont be on a huge amount at City and you would expect that any offer from Wolves dwarfs his current salary. He clearly has confidence in his own ability and wants to stay and fight for his place. That is footballing reasons. Granted, he might be a little delusional but that is something else entirely.
Except be wouldn't be starting for wolves in midfield ahead of neves or mourinho. Unless they're gonna play him as a wing back he would still be in the bench. Maybe he doesn't want to play wing back?Even worse than leaving for money imo.
Staying on current salary to sit in the stands. It’s a lack of ambition I don’t want to see in any player associated with the club.
He wasn’t making the bench for more than a month near the end of last season. Left out of the community shield squad recently.
Won’t even make bench until the league cup starts in the middle of September. So another whole month of sitting in the stands.
Sorry but this is strange. He has to chance to go to Wolves which play a similar style to us, have a good manager and are investing heavily in the squad showning their ambition to not just stay up but to do something more. He should be jumping at the chance to sign for them...
I don't see it lacks ambition on his part.Even worse than leaving for money imo.

I think Wolves were targeting him as a wingback - they have Neves, Moutinho and Dendoncker for midfield. Playing for Wolves as a wingback is hardly the most appealing perspective.Even worse than leaving for money imo.

Better than sitting in the stands thoughI think Wolves were targeting him as a wingback - they have Neves, Moutinho and Dendoncker for midfield. Playing for Wolves as a wingback is hardly the most appealing perspective.
Very strong midfield, that.I think Wolves were targeting him as a wingback - they have Neves, Moutinho and Dendoncker for midfield. Playing for Wolves as a wingback is hardly the most appealing perspective.
