Olivia’s killer guilty - Minimum of 42 years

It will be like when young Resce was shot. An initial wall of silence but then the graffiti on the walls will name names and the pressure will grow but the police ultimately need people to come forward or can't do anything
I think even amongst the criminal fraternity there is a general hatred of this type of crime. Sadly the perpetrators themselves rarely show any sympathy and will be laughing about it possibly and covering up for their mate(s).
For the police they have to get a solid case or the trial goes tits up i guess. As in the Rhys one hopefully people will be shocked and saddened and give some good information

The thing is once something is out there it's not going away. Criminalising it isn't going to stop people wanting or getting it. Being able to legally buy it stops the criminals having the monopoly and using violence and intimidation to keep that monopoly. Decriminalising buying and having it frees up police time, courts and prison cells. When ex drug officers advocate this approach you know it's sensible, that's the reason it will never happen.
I think you’re right about decriminalisation. I’ve totally changed my opinion over the years. During the 80, 90s, I’d have said no, and I think that was right for the time but now we’ve come to a point where most people realise this isn’t working. Maybe society has to go through these horrors first to come to this conclusion. And of course, decriminalisation doesn’t mean legalisation across the board. The post by @Scottyboi offers some solutions. Goes without saying, we should also be looking at why young people especially, feel the need to block out life to the point of being numb.

All city’s have major issues but Liverpool is toxic, might have the veneer of a great place for a night out but underneath and on top it’s grim, Operation Sheridan is going to court in October with numerous misconduct in office charges and that doesn’t include The ex Mayor and Hatton, the place has been run by gangsters either in high office or the more nefarious ones in crime.

It’s not just now the tunnel scandal was the perfect example of a community robbing off its own

And then you get this poor girl which is heartbreaking.

No. A guy was being chased by a gunman and just chose this house to force his way in to. The pursuing gunman followed him in and carried on shooting not giving a shit where his bullets landed. After he left the Mates of the guy he shot turned up and took him to hospital leaving that little 9 year old to die in the arms of her mother
Fucking cunts who I hope are charged also with felony murder ?

Do we have felony murder here or something similar ? Please say we do
My apologies when I typed that I was going off what I heard in the news at that point.

Even a lot of ex undercover police officers who targeted drug gangs now believe this is the way forward. The war on drugs started in America and as usual we got into bed with them. They didn't start it to help their citizens, they started it for the same reason they start most things, money.
