Olympiacos (A) - CL | Post-Match Thread

Well they were fucking dire and we somehow only scored one. We really need to start getting even slightly clinical as our season is fucked if we keep this up
Was out for a walk on the fields next to Parrs Wood school yesterday, crossing one of the footy pitches.
Stopped on the edge of the penalty area and looked at the goals. They're fecking huge, don't know how we're scoring so few.

Job done, qualified & can again rest players in remaining games, Dias impresses more every time he plays, Cancelo another good performance. 3 points Saturday vs Burnley & we can start moving up the table.

I could (may well) be wrong, but I think we need a point on Tuesday away at Porto to guarantee topping the group and guaranteeing the last match is meaningless, and securing a better last 16 route with a home leg second, so I’d like us to keep a strong team for that match.

Will be frustrating if he doesn’t. We look much more threatening with Foden in the side.
We do, but we need to remember he's 20, and whilst I'm sure he's fit enough, we don't want him burning out at 28 through over use like other footballers have. Also a game every 3 or 4 days is causing more injuries across the board, and he's still in a developing body, a serious muscle injury just now could set him back.

Lets just let the club manage him as best they think they should, how we've managed him so far has in my opinion been exemplory, lets hope it continues, and he continues to improve as he has.

Best team in Greece?

They wouldn't even be the best team in my street. They were fucking wank.

However, job done.

Foden was excellent.

Aguero back on the scene.

And I feel miles better now Fernandinho is back.
