I don't think it was a straight rejection,more the fact he saw his progression as being better with his current team as presently he wouldn't get much football here,if he develops further,obviously into a first team candidate,he may be back.

We were going to loan him to Valenciennes in Ligue 1 though, surely better standard than the UAE league. Never understood why he didn't sign for us, we have contacts all over Europe now to loan players to.

I think if he will want to comeback in Europe we will have the first option to sign him....it's looking like an asewome prospect

He has been sensational so far in the Gulf Cup which is going on nowadays in Bahrain.

I had doubts about him especially after looking at his injury records and because he's from the Gulf which managed to produce only one player who succeeded in Europe (Ali Al-Habsi). Though, he totally proved that he's indeed a special talent that needs to grow more in the European leagues. His control, vision, passing, determination (and tracking back!) is a class above any Arab/Asian player I've seen in the recent years.

Can't see him playing for us in the PL, but we can buy him for cheap and sell him for profit to a French or Spanish club, he can shine there! :)
