We actually did put a clause in his contract saying he couldn't leave for any rivals. But he successfully argued that they're so far behind, they don't count as rivals.
The media turning vinegar into wine as far as the rags go. Remember when they only failed financial fair play by just little bit was the official line? Now they’ve appointed City chief operating officer as CEO who’s been at the club since 2011, he now is deemed to know nothing about the alleged cooking the books from 2009-2018. If there was a case to answer here the rags would have done the due diligence to appoint someone who could be led away in hand cuffs if these very serious but trumped up allegations are proven.
His first job,if he has any sense is too kick out the old boys network in there.
That starts at Mr Ferguson .
Ten Hag likes this postIf Barrada can implement the following in even five years then he would be a huge hire for them:
Totally restructure the entire club management and bring in high quality professionals.
Same as above but with the academy and player recruitment.
Hire a top level manager who is totally in tune with the new ethos and then give him the time to impose his ideas.
Increase substantially the already high commercial income they have.
And finally get them competing for the top prizes every season and actually winning some of them.
That's a fairly demanding to do list I'd say...
....and look at the rubbish they signed !!!!! with the exception of Ronaldo but he had his huge faults off the pitch. To be honest, Berrada being at City's not stopped ManUre from gazumping us on previous targets going back as far as RVP.
The same happened with Pogba, Sanchez, Maguire, Fred, Ronaldo etc where they got wind of our interest & blew us out of the water with the bid & wages offered.
They must have a mole, tapped our phones &/or placed bugs in Soriano & Txiki's offices, all whilst Berrada was at City.
