Omar Berrada to the rags | TLDR: They want to be us

We didn't.

Soriano left in 2008.

Txiki left in 2010.

Pep left in 2012 & signed a 3 year deal with Bayern after a year out of football.

None went directly from Barça to City.
We were tapping them all up long before they left Barca, our whole football "project" was based on that once great Barca model.

Nice to see Rabin back after his 2 month self imposed exit from social media. Hopefully his brain is in a good place again.

He’s very good at finding and pointing out the hypocrisy and blatant bollox of the media and other teams fans.
It's not too difficult....its a clear and obvious conspiracy spewed out by the minute by a bitter, envious and racist media.

Rags obsessing about 115 charges suddenly have someone who would have been chief conspirator in our alleged over inflated sponsorship deals as their CEO. Tells you everything you need to know that nothing will be happening on the charges front.
Not true, the Times have already said he had no input into anything that could be construed as dodgy, they printed it so it must be true.

I think this is a shrewd move from them and will strengthen the rags hand. Every thing that’s wrong with them starts from the top so that sir Jim guy in my opinion has been pretty clever with this move much to my disappointment.
We should relish more competition. A proper challenge from United will spur Khaldoon and Pep on. It may persuade Pep to stay longer. Liverpool’s challenge pushed us on in 2019.

100% this ^

Pep and the club will be relishing the challenge and the same goes with the rest of the chasing pack.

Think he clearly enjoyed working with the guys here, but everybody has ambition and waiting out Txixi to retire or leave was probably never going to work out for him. He can make the top decisions himself now, Utd are fucked right now and they have needed a footballing guy up top for ages - they have that now but a lot will need to change. When it comes to City, we will do what we always do when faced with a top talent loss - upgrade.
