I wasn’t there, but Mrs Vienna was.
I was sat in my grandparents' kitchen, watching Gerald Sinstadt reporting on the events at the swamp, absolutely loving the fact that Denis had scored the goal.
I remember thinking that the result should stand, as it was the rags, who forced the referee to abandon the match. I too, was ten years old.
