RIP, Manchester remembers.

Those who like to sing Munich chants, or use Munich to have a pop a them lot, imagine waking up the morning after the Porto away game to hear the news the City plane had crashed and the likes of David Silva, Micah Richards, Joe Hart, Kun Aguero had all died.

A shuddering thought, have some respect.

Nobody is showing any disrespect, what people are saying that in all honesty they are not that bothered about a tragic accident that occurred before many of them were born and mainly effected a club that they don't support, and it has been repeated many times there have been far worse tragedies in the history of Manchester

My post was more a general message, not aimed at anyone in this thread.

It's aimed at the minority of City fans who do show disrespect and mock the accident.

Someone needs to be emotionally retarded to mock a tragedy, I could never see the point myself

football banter is one thing but death is not something to be joked about. one of the proudest moments to be a city fan was the away end at old trafford for the 50 year anniversary.

RIP

No ones joking mate,just questioning.
wasnt insinuating about this forum buddy. i was just reffering to the occasional munich chants that can be heard at matches.

do utd really charge fans to go into the memorial museum?

Agree completely, it happens though unfortunately.

Serious question here.

I presume there will be a minutes silence at OT at weekend?

Is the minutes silence at all Premier League games?

Also, I agree with a earlier comment about the 50th Anniversary derby, fantastic show of respect by both teams.

Would have been nice to keep this thread just for people to pay their respects to the dead, and leave the slating of united (of which a lot is justified) for another day.

just a thought!

Was the Munich air disaster, 21 lives were lost(7 rag players and City's very own Frank Swift)

Could we leave out any insults(unless aimed at me ;) ) You just know rags will be on the look out reporting to Rag cafe head quaters.

Well said.

Football is a game after all.

People and lives are far more important.

Sometimes, we all need to remember that.

RIP and all that but how long before this gets put to bed like hundreds of tradgedys over the years?

Probably never so long as the rags can milk it for sponsorship money

So you're bemoaning a club for remembering a pivotal incident in its history? I take it you do the same with Braford, Liverpool, Juventus etc etc or are you being a thick ****?
Sorry I didnt realise they had AIG sponsoring there tradgedies
