Players just start to feel sorry for themselves and just start passing backwards and sideways to further avoid mistakes.
We’re the perfect team when taking the lead and slowing the game down, passing it round at the tempo we want, tiring out the opposition and picking them off
However, we have some players who aren’t suited to fast counter attacks, transitioning from back to front and back again when we’re chasing a game. We slow down to a stop on counter attacks and pass inane passes about inside and let defences get back and set. We also lack pace in midfield.
We almost have to score first.
