One Midfielder, One Forward

Cheaper option out wide would be zhirkov. was class before he got to chelski

Joining Anzhi for £13m, really surprised he didn't make it in England. People call us but Chelsea is far worse for being a graveyard for talent IMO.

If it were my choice I would go double Dutch.

Sniejder & Afellay.

Or 2 Spaniards -Juan Mata & Javi Martinez.

Belgians - Eden Hazard & Marouane Fellaini.

Germans - Mario Gotze & Marko Marin.

Argentinians - Javier Pastore & Ezequiel Lavezzi.
French - Marvin Martin and Sam Nasri

I'd go Spanish.

But surely Argentinian would've been the best choice (if it was available)?

We'll have to wait and see. Hopefully it is sooner rather than later so we can bed in any new signings.

I'd be more than happy with Sneijder or Mata and Eto'o to play up front passing on his knowledge.

The Tevez deal may be delaying one of the two signings if it is Sneijder as I would guess the wages are similar. Not saying Mata or Eto'o would come cheaply of course.

All the Wesley Sneijder love really grates me. He's totally over-rated and living off of a reputation based around performances at the 2010 World Cup and the 2009/10 Champions league.

- He's slow
- He failed badly in Spain
- He's 27 meaning he is angling for his last major contract (there will be hardly any sell-on value for his next club)

Spuds got Rafael van der Vaart for 8m at exactly the same age (27), Sneijder's barely worth anymore than that.

C'mon that's a bit harsh........

Eto'o as a swap for Tevez. And Nasri. Also i still dont think we can risk Taylor as number 2, has anything been done on the Backup keeper front? I know we had someone on trial, did anything come from it?
