To this day, the most exhilirating sound I've ever heard, and one which given the nihilism and rejection of the past that punk purportedly embraced, ironically led me on a voyage of musical discovery straight to The Buzzcocks, The Undertones, Blondie, The Jam, The Clash etc etc...
