Only City still undefeated after 15 games (this PL season)

So on one instance you are saying? What about the other 19 teams we play?

We beat United twice last season taking 6 points of them and we only won the league with the last kick level on points.

Our next two away games are Newcastle and Sunderland. Would you take two draws and still be undefeated or one win and one defeat?

If you go away from home and take an average of 2 points a game and 90% of your home games you'd be very unlucky not to win the league...

Agree but the more we draw the less likely that happens. I don't want to keep coming away from games saying "at least we're still undefeated"

No contest. It has to be the ''one win, one defeat'' option (seeing as there's no ''two wins'' choice!).

Exactly! Of course two wins would be better but it seems some people would rather have the undefeated tag but be worse off in points.

I don't think there is anybody who would prefer 2 points instead of 3...

Better than coming away from games saying "well that undefeated run is over then".

Why? If we pick up a point where last season we got zero then I'm happy.

As I say we are still up on last year and that's the best way to keep track.

Yesterday we dropped two points from last season, from draws this season we have dropped 3 points from the same fixtures. If we draw at Newcastle after beating united then that will be 5 points dropped from drawing. It won't matter if we are undefeated or not.

Don't get me wrong, it is nice being undefeated but only if you are ahead.

We are ahead if last year. Where we are in relation to Utd matters little after 15 games.

We are ahead if last year. Where we are in relation to Utd matters little after 15 games.

We're up 1 point on the same fixtures last season, substituting West Ham for Blackburn.

To stay on track we need to win next weekend, 15 games or not we need to beat Utd.

More concerned about the away record than the unbeaten stuff.

We wont have the same home record this season as it was expected and as we dont know how many points will be needed to win the league between 80-90 points we better make at least as better away record as our home record will be worse to target the same 89 points in theory.

We had those away matches last season when where we couldnt really avoid losing as we were really bad like Swansea away, Arsenal away, Everton away.

We made some improvement on beating WBA/Fulham away already, but we won at United and Spurs which is hard to do again.

If we get 6 points less at home and 6 points more away from home than last season we finish 89 points and that will be enough. If not we hardly could do more.

But if we get 6 points less at home and the same amount of points away from home then we finish on 83 points giving a good chance to United to win it with 84 already.

After all our home record will be about 6-10 points worse if we wont improve our form dramatically until end of January.

It is already two points worse and it wil stay only 2 points if we beat every one at home until the end. Draw to United and it is already 4 points worse home record at best.
