I was just walking by as she got on the mic. Those who were there will remember, but I'm convinced her speech after the 3-2 defeat to United in the FA Cup went some way to winning us the league that year. We lost the game but we knew we'd scared them, so a few thousand were still hanging about in City Square about 15 mins after full-time instead of just going home. Spirits were good. And then Natalie gave a proper rallying speech to the crowd about how afraid United were that we were coming for their title and that we were going to take it off them. Think those of us who'd stayed behind in City Square went home feeling that little bit more defiant and that little bit more confident that we could do it.
