I cant believe he got the Queen to jump out of a Helicopter with James Bond.

Cant believe he got the lyric in "Kidney machines pay for rockets and guns"

Those Chimneys in the opening segment were inspired, especially with all those Drummers !

I just got done watching the 4.5 hour marathon and thought it was pretty good. Unlike some people I really enjoy the parade of athletes and Paul McCartney did a great job at the end.

I thought the flaming rings were impressive & to choreograph all the people & sets involved must of took some doing. Wasn't sure what was going on in parts & thought the bit where the young couple were texting each other to a medley of music was a bit odd. Quite good as opening ceromonies go though.

Flicked it on, and usually straight off again, as the night wore on.

I saw a load of blokes being Darwin or Brunel, turned off
I heard fuckin queen, turned it off
Watched some of the parade, enjoyed the choice of music, got bored turned it off.
Arctic Monkeys i saw and they were brill.
The singalong at the end wasn't a patch on the one we did after the derby.
That flame thingy was damn good
And the fittest athlete was the woman carrying the Sout Sudan flag.
