Great thread.

Recent games I would say Rice and Douglas Luiz have been stand out.

I always liked the look of Luiz but he seems to have really come on. Family member of mine is a big Villa fan and he think's he's technically brilliant and would love to see him given a role further forward.

Rice has come on no end in the last 18 months. Still a good age too. Biggest compliment I could give is I don't think he would look out of place in our midfield nowadays.

On the other side, can anyone tell me seriously how Iwobi gets paid to play football? Absolutely dross.

Todd Cantwell.

Would be immense under Pep’s guidance.

I also like Tyrick Mitchell at Crystal Palace.

Maybe mostly because the player while good will be pretty unlikely to join us. Example Reece James, Mohammed Salah, etc.
