OS: If You Don’t Attend 10 PL Home Games, You Could Lose Your Season Ticket The Following Season

I don't remember us ever having this problem before we expanded the stadium.

I don't understand anyone who knows in advance they can't attend a game not putting their seat up for resale. Why would you turn down getting your money back and allowing someone else the chance to watch the game?

I have to admit though the first couple of times I tried to do it I found it hard to fathom out until I got the hang of it. I think you have to log in, go to men's tickets for sale then hit ticket exchange or something like that.

Surprised they didnt leave it 6 on the exchange and Min attendance 10 to prevent people selling 10 times on exchange and not going 9 but they would know that data.

TBH my block is always sold out and usually my ticket sells no problem unless mid week or other factors so if reality i should hit 10 TX sales no issue i feel.

The ticket exchange is excellent and the rule relaxing the 6 match limit is very welcome. In the last 4 seasons, ours has failed to sell once out of 20 or so occasions. I would hate to think that my seat was empty because I cant make it. Why deny some other fan the opportunity? Its a really excellent move by the club.

When the away fans give up tickets, a lot of our fans buy them.

It's not a problem, it's a symptom of success.

There's more demand for seats now. It's apparently easy to sell your season ticket on if you can't go. Even if City wanted to do this in the past, I don't think we'd have been able to do it.

Now all the games are sold out, you can create a secondary market for resales.

- Does city actively buy off the exchange themselves or is it only cityzens members? For example if Joe daytripper turns up to the Box office window a few hours before but isnt a member and there is a few dozen on the exchange. Can City directly "buy" them or do they only have they allocation of a few thousand?

But the club more often than not sell all of the day tickets they have available and thus the game is a ‘sell out’, however around 3-4,000 seats remain empty on average per game. Those are SC’s with people not turning up.
And what about the unsold seats that are still in the hands of the various online ticket agencies?
