OS: If You Don’t Attend 10 PL Home Games, You Could Lose Your Season Ticket The Following Season

Tin hat on here but it's bollocks.

If I can't afford to buy a house can I move into yours when you go on your 2 week summer holiday as your not using it? If you only use your car 5 days a week can I use it on the other 2 days!

You pay for the season, what people choose to do with their ticket is up to them. If there is such a demand, extend the south stand.

Rant over. Ridicule and abuse me, feel free. If you pay for a service it's up to you how you use it.
You don't BUY your seat, you RENT it.

No one is stopping you renting it for a season and doing what you want with it. You just won't be able to rent it again the following season.

Very true Tim but many of us were a lot younger and less cynical then. The club were really in the mire at that time in our history and in true Mancunian spirit if you kick us we will kick back harder and that is what we did.

On Saturday I left thinking they at last had a tool that could really make a difference in tripping us up. Now I kind of understand the ridiculous new handball rule I can see how that goal was ruled out, as ludicrous and unfair I still think it was. The non penalty and Swarbricks comments regarding it later this week had me raging again. Any fool could see the defender had him in a chokehold then pulled him down. To say he was looking for it was a blatant lie. It was EXACTLY what var was brought in to do, right a wrong. Oliver missed it, var should have given it. That they didn't says it all.

Swarbrick was a disgrace and Oliver a shithouse for letting Swarbrick cover for him. That’s our standards of refereeing and we didn’t have a ref at the men’s World Cup.

I get your point about the unique situation we are facing and I’m not sure where we’ve faced this level of corruption before. I hope all the Blues get behind the team because we need snookers with VAR to win the Prem. They said, if we can win the Orem or the big ears this season, I believe it will be our greatest achievement. Fcuk PGMOL

Hi, I'm from Melbourne looking to make the trip to the Etihad in Nov/Dec this year and catch a game. I need some help regarding how the Ticket Exchange system - this is very foreign concept unfortunately for me. Obviously, City v Chelsea on 23 Nov is sold out being a massive game.

My understanding is tickets can only be listed 4 weeks before the game?

Is that correct and also, what are the chances of being able to get a ticket via ticket exchange?

Any help would be much appreciated!

So you get to keep your ST if you only go to 3 games as long as you put 7 on the ticket exchange? Wow! Some deterrent.

Hi Matt, welcome to the site.

For you the ticket exchange isn't relevant, you just need to keep trying on the OS for tickets (I guess you have to register and maybe become a Cityzen cardholder, I don't know). It is true that supporters can put their seats up for sale 4 weeks in advance, but if it isn't a sell-out then others can't buy them until 7 days before. If the club have already sold out for the game then they will make these seats available earlier. Exchange seats will come available and sell for the big games randomly so you just need to keep trying. The more seats you need the harder it will be (getting them together).

It was as clear a penalty as you could see and for Swarbrick to say what he did was an utter disgrace. Even worse it implied Rodri was trying to con the ref. Whoever did that interview with him should have taken him to task for it. In Oliver's defence watching it back he wasn't looking at it but even if he was, given his past history at ignoring blatant decisions, I am not sure he would have given it.

As others have said though if we had taken half the chances we missed it would have been irrelevant.

You're all about 6 days late to the discussion as there's 5 pages about this on this thread linked above ;)

Link to the OS below.

Please note that this season, if a Seasoncard holder does not attend or does not place their Seasoncard seat on the Club’s Ticket Exchange for a combined total of 10 Premier League home matches during the 2019/20 season, then the respective Seasoncard holder’s seat may not be automatically renewed for the following season, and any requested renewal will be granted or denied by the Club (acting in its absolute discretion).

So, in order to guarantee your opportunity to renew your Seasoncard for the 2020/21 season you must either:

1. Attend a minimum of 10 home Premier League matches

2. Attend less than 10 home Premier League matches but list the difference on the Ticket Exchange (e.g. if you attend 3 you must list a minimum of 7*)

The cynic in me says the club aren't arsed about filling any un used seats its just that they charge ridiculous matchday prices so for every ticket on the exchange they can sell for 3x what it cost the seasonticket holder.

I think this is less about penalising fans for missing games and more about maximising fans listing their tickets on ticket exchange for resale at a profit.

I often can’t be arsed listing when we miss a game due to holidays or whatever . Will think twice now though.
