OS Opinion Survey

I`d love away fans moved to colin bell stand maybe the people around me would liven up.

I`ve been there since begining and ony this year people arond me are starting to sing maybe that`s because all they hear is my tone deaf sound. I always move to singing section when we kick towards it.

Oh i thought moving bayern WAS A DAMP SQuID.

I told city in the comments part all you could hear was bayern that game.

after the first survey, following the Villareal game, i supported the idea, with the caveat that i would get a decent relocation. After the Bayern game ive changed my view - its not going to work. I'm staying put.

I sit in 305 and for the Bayern game I was sent an email asking if I'd be prepared to move to compensate for the away fans. This, I might add, was met with a resounding 'you can fuck right off' but sure enough we were moved but with no instruction of where to etc.

So there we were at the game, go to our seats to find them covered with the black divider between the home and aways and no idea where we were sitting. When we asked a steward to check to see where we'd been relocated to not one of them could give us an answer due to the hand held scanners not working.

Surely enough they found us 3 seats in a row, IN THE FUCKING DISABLED section. Now for those not familar with the disabled area this is in the corner of the east stand and the north stand with a shit view of the game compared to what I'm used to.

I'm completely against being moved!!! I like to sit in my seat, on the halfway line with the perfect view of the game that I've enjoyed since the ground opened.

Operation One end failed!!! Now I hope to God that we are left in peace and that they try their 'experiment' on some other poor bastards.

Which is what I've also said. Why give a large quantity of the best seats in the stadium to away supporters?
Our most vocal supporters react to a vocal away support, so by isolating the away supporters up on level 3, this will have a negative effect on the atmosphere

Out of interest why do singers everywhere (not just our stadium) pick the worst view possible? I like a sing song but its not worth compromising my view of the game

Judging by the questions it looks like the survey has only gone to those attending the game against Bayern. At least that's a positive move as it should mean that they are only listening to people directly affected and if they are honest with the fans they should come to the conclusion that it was a massive og.
I'm really surprised that they have to survey again, could they not see and hear how much of a failure it was? Again.

Wise words as usual from Harrogate Blue.

I was moved from EL306 for the Bayern game but was fortunate to get a decent seat in EL2. It wasn't however as good a view as my normal position. The atmosphere was poor, and scattering people around the stadium is bound to have this affect. Fans get used to the people they sit close to, and this generates it's own craic & atmosphere.

I would urge EL3 and all other supporters who are against this move to vote against this in the strongest of terms. If we don't get this idea booted out once and for all then we will have only ourselves to blame.

Like I said in the survey. "Operation One End" was never going to work as a one off. Simply because you get day trippers or people that are used to sitting in L3 in there, they simply, might not want to sing and stand.

It will only ever work, if it's implemented and given 2-3 years for everyone who WANTS to be in a singing/standing section to do so.

ditto

i moved from 306 to CB2, padded seats and all, prefere the view in 306!

strongly opposed top the potential move and made that clear in my response to the survey

I sit in 307 with my Mrs and daughter. I've told them that I will not renew all 3 seasoncards if they insist on relocating us to SS. You can't see the game anywhere near as good as that from the middle of the pitch.

We have some good banter with those around us and there are the odd few who join in the Poznan or get singing, so not all bad up in the gods.
