Said the same thing! I dont pay for my season ticket seat/ view to be moved everybody bloody cup/ champs league game!!!!

I don't disagree with any of that, im not advocating that what I said needs to be done, im saying that the two games they have tested it, there have been plausible excuses as to why the atmosphere was poor without getting to the South Stand situation.

Im merely stating that they can't really gurantee its success or failure unless it was a league game, which they won't do, nor do I think they should do it without consulation and voting for those directly affected, so its a pointless topic really.

Surely going 1-0 down to Villareal should have galvanised the South Stand into getting behind the team?

So are you saying that it should be trialed against a team we know we're going to spank?
I honestly don't believe what's trying to be achieved ever will be.
At the moment we have our hardcore of singers located either side of the away support, so in theory that should get our singing section motivated, yet it doesn't. So why will re-locating thousands of middle aged people into the SS who don't want to sing or stand up help?

If ever this scheme does happen and EL3 is handed to away supporters, I honestly will give up my season card unless I'm re-located to an area with an equivalent view

People who've travelled Europe to watch us play constantly rave about the atmosphere in the stadiums they've visited
1/ Our away support always creates a brilliant atmosphere
2/ Continental matches have orchestrated singing, drums etc. At the mere suggestion of anything like that on this board and it's rejected in the blink of an eye.

I'm with you all the way on that. I've had my season card in EL 306, close to the front, since Day One. There is no way I would get anywhere near an equivalent view from seats available elsewhere in the Stadium.

In addition of course there would be the inevitable breaking up of a large group of fellow fans in our section who over the years have all become friends. That would also apply to many other sections in EL3. Thus, with the scattering of supporters around the stadium (as per the Family Stand fiasco), and the removal of their normal match-day banter, this would most likely have a negative effect on the match atmosphere. Judging from the Bayern experiment, we could in fact end up with a quieter stadium than we currently have.

For my son and me I pay close on £1,000 for our seats, PLUS the extra cost for Cup Games, PLUS the not inconsiderable travel expenses from where we live. This amounts to quite a lot of money going out each year, but it's worth it for the enjoyment value of going to the match and all the craic that goes with it.

I seriously wonder whether it would still be worth it if we were to be turfed out of EL3 and into inferior seats. Probably not.

I wonder if any one has thought of actually splitting the people who want to sing, if there was a 'singing section' in each corner maybe it would encourage the fans next to them to sing and get involved. A crap match with poor away support and a vocal battle between 'singing sections' should improve things.

We might as well have a giant game of Runaround with a computer generated Mike Read on the TV screens , get everyone in 109/110 East Stand , all the South Stand & all of us in EL3 .............. Runaround now !!!!!!!!

Ive told them to politely FECK OFF ! what about our atmosphere in EL3 ? doesn't that count for anything ?
