Wow, kidda, I thought you, of all people, would see past the statement you have put out.

It is a statement so far from the truth, that I'm shocked it even came from you!!

Afraid no Bigga my old chum. I seriously dislike organised religion in all its forms.

Don't get me wrong, I'm no fan of organised religion, myself. However, even I recognise that Usama Bin Laden used religion for a means to an end. He wasn't remotely serious when he did things 'in the name of Allah'.

Pure bullsh*t. What he did do was appeal to the weaker minded sheep of Human Beings(of which there are many regardless of religion, race or creed) and brainwashed them to believe in a 'higher cause'.

He could have simply set in motion the fact that he hated the tentacles of America spreading over the world and wanted it to stop(ironically, he'd have found BETTER allies, this way), much as the Somali pirates making a (flippant) stance on international ship paying for the right to use their waters.

In both cases a stance of reason would have been listened to.

That does not mean that I dislike all those who have a belief or faith, but I reserve the right to detest their religion.

Very good fan of reading...thank you..i like to read and make my own mind up though not just follow the bullshit that we get fed..
10000 v 1 or 2 million ? that is the point i tried to make.. +
We know Bush for a fact did killed 1 or 2 million but we don’t know ABL killed 10000

As i said will this make the world safer ...what do you think oh wise one?

Islamist leader in Pakistan: Bin Laden's martyrdom will not be in vain
Hafiz Mohammad Saeed, leader of the violent Lashkar-e-Taiba group, tells followers that the slain al-Qaida leader is a 'great person' who will continue to serve as source of strength and encouragement for Muslims around the world.
"Martyrdoms are not losses, but are a matter of pride for Muslims," Saeed said. "Osama bin Laden has rendered great sacrifices for Islam and Muslims, and these will always be remembered."

again i say A big mistake on the yanks part...

I do not have a clue why you keep bring Bush up. I have not stated that I like Bush. I would happily see Bush go to prison for his crimes against humanity. I simply stated that one pursued an agenda that targhetted civiliansand one had civilian deaths on his hands as "collateral damage".

One is an idiotic war monger with a sub 100 IQ.

The other was a terrorist.

You asked which was a terrorist. I answered.

Anyway good article from Robert Fisk

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.independent.co.uk/opinion/commentators/fisk/robert-fisk-was-he-betrayed-of-course-pakistan-knew-bin-ladens-hiding-place-all-along-2278028.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.independent.co.uk/opinion/co ... 78028.html</a>

That is by some considerable distance the most balanced and readible Robert Fisk article I've come across.<br /><br />-- Tue May 03, 2011 1:59 pm --<br /><br />

Yes, anybody with a different view from yours must fit into one of those categories. How easy it must be for you to just place any alternative opinions into easily placed boxes like this. I'm utterly ashamed at how many people are willing to forgo their principles at the first sign of a challenge to them.

They are called principles because they are hard to follow, not because they are easy.

"I'm against the death penalty, but Bin Laden got what's coming to him."
"I believe in restorative justice but assassinating political enemies is a good idea."
"Nationalism is a bad thing, but people jumping around singing 'USA' in the streets after the announcement was fine."
"Murdering a murderer is definitely justice."

Hypocrites, total and utter hypocrites.

See its easy for certain people i have differing views on many subjects which means i cant be placed as a leftie or a rightie or anywhere.
My view on this is simple, he is a murderer so its not a bad thing he is dead and if any of my family had been in the WTC building on 9/11 i would of danced a jig around "ground zero" on Sunday

Depends on your'e viewpoint Damo, to be fair your'e very quick to dismiss some comments (the trial one earlier for example, labelling it a kangaroo court) if it doesn't suit you're very obvious agenda of anger at the US so it kinda works both ways.

I personally have to say that I'm incredibly dismayed at the amount of people who seem to think OBL had any rights. He has received justice, albeit of the summary nature but I'll bet the majority of people who lost loved ones during any of his crews atrocities care not a jot about that. He is a mass murderer and inciter of hatred and bad feeling. When all said and done his message was becoming less relevant to the arabs of the middle east and beyond, for whom it seems seek a more democratic form of governance over the sharia type law Al Q appear to favour, so the effect of this is not as significant as it would have been 5 years ago, but nevertheless, the world is a slightly better place without scum like that in it. So if that makes me a hypocrite so be it. However, I know I can look at the world objectively, realistically and with little naivety.
