Edozie was quite poor in the academy, Bobb has been POTY 2 years in a row. As soon as Bobb builds up his confidence in the first team, he’ll easily be twice the player of Edozie
I personally think bobb has shown the most in pre season. Got them line splitting passes in him.

Reminds me of Sane, it’s probably the hair though!

Not in the match squad yesterday. I guess we need to make a decision what's the best course of action for this lad. Is he going to be given a chance? If not, he needs a loan. He was impressive in pre-season, though.

Really surprised not to see his name yesterday,he looks much more ready than McAtee IMO.

I agree though,he's 20,and while we have to balance the requirements of the squad.....he needs football.

Probably would have been on the bench if Palmer wasn't. Either Plamer or Bobb has to on loan, probably Palmer.

We still have Gvardiol and Ake, so we would need to sell Laporte and loan McAtee and Palmer for Bobb to make the bench. I haven't counted the spots, though, so I could be wrong.

It's tricky but one way of looking at it is what sort of role you could give them in say PL fixtures.
I would say Cole could start against weaker teams, come off bench for Phol or Bernardo in bigger games.
James, 20 mins at en, 30 if 2 nil up hopefully has the Cole moment he needs to settle down
Oscar probably less, maybe League Cup, 5 or 10 mins if we are well up in league.

So for me Oscar is the one to have a year away but will be very interesting to see.

Personally, I think Bobb is the most talented of the three, but that doesn't mean he will get the nod. He is, to me, not a natural wide-right player; Palmer is, and Mahrez leaving means that that is where the options are. I see Bobb more as a player behind the striker, but I hope that will be Foden's role. I can see this as the possibility for Bobb:

==============Haaland================
Grealish========Foden===========Palmer
=====Kovacic====Rodri======KDB========

==============Haaland================
Grealish========Bobb===========Bernardo
=====Kovacic====Rodri======Foden========

So Bobb replaces Foden in CAM. When we play Palmer out wide, we go more experience in the centre. When we play Bobb centre, we play more experience out wide.

In cup games, I would be more inclined to play two of McAtee, Bobb and Palmer.

So playing 3 at the back? - not sure even Pep would do that behind those formations
