brilliant documentary.
I once woke up in the middle of the night and saw the wifes car reversing out of the 'drive'. Ran downstairs and outside to see the car driving off down the road. Went back inside and called the cops to report stolen motor and if they were quick they'd spot it in Whitefield.
Breathless, i went back to the bedroom to tell the mrs what had happened. Imagine my surprise when she wasn't there. She did get pulled over by plod on the M62 though so b ig thumbs up to GMP,

Exactly this,and he would of had to successful pass the training to receive his license,
  • You must be 21 years old unless convincing reasons are requiring you to get a competency certificate or firearm licence before the stipulated age.
  • You must be a South African citizen or permanent residence permit holder.
  • You must pass a thorough background check.
  • You must be declared mentally stable and fit.
  • You mustn’t be addicted to any drugs or alcohol.
  • You mustn’t have a criminal record.

  • (You must know how to use a firearm (you must’ve successfully completed a basic training course at an accredited training institution.
To me he knew what he was doing..

Was she just going work or somewhere and you forgot?
Was she leaving you in the middle of the night?
Sleepwalking/driving?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Keep your hair on , in countries where you are allowed a gun to protect yourself you are going to get someone shooting at you if you break in to someones house , if they open the door then they will shoot you back , i can just understand in the middle of the night in a violent country that these things can happen

The bathroom door was locked from the inside. I don't know many burglars who break in through a bathroom window, lock the door and then help themselves to your shampoo and shower gel.

There is no way he could have perceived a threat from behind a locked door, and at that point the simple, but forceful warning 'I have a gun, and if you come through the door I will shoot you' would be more than enough to deter any potential attacker. Nobody wants to get shot.

In the middle of the night with no legs i think rational thinking went out of the window , gun culture does not sit well with me , asking for trouble
