Odd that so many of you don't think Silva is one of our key big game players. Cast your minds back to the Barca game, the Chelsea game, when we played Real Madrid. The class always rose to the top and Merlin was right up there. He has to be one of our best big game players.

Cup Final against Stoke he was poor.
Cup Final against Wigan he was poor.
Aguerooooooo day against QPR he was poor.

Real Madrid, The 6 -1, Munich away this Season weren't big games compared to those.

Kompany and Aguero come in 2nd place,but Yaya always is that extra bit motivated in the big games (FA CupSemi final goal vs U***** ,FA Cup Final goal vs Stoke,Double vs Newcastle in penultimate game of league,assist for Zaba in final game just before getting injured etc)

Think he was actually injured prior to setting Zabba up,

He was,yet still made the decisive lob for zaba. It was his last action for the game.

James Milner. Will he play in the final tomorrow? unlikely, because his name isn't Pedro Sanchez. He's a victim of the same discrimination that has seen Demichelis or even Garcia play centreback ahead of Lescott, that saw Gareth Barry exiled despite being the unsung hero of our recent success (especially defensively) with Garcia again wrongly deemed superior, and that will likely see Hart replaced by Valdes in the summer.
