Our marketing team are at it again

I feel like the club have humiliated me and my family with this. My boy has been getting texts off his united mates taking the piss and a couple of Liverpool fans at work have been having a dig about it.

I do hope this is a Clarkie.

Feel let down by the club. We should be proud of City for what they do on the pitch but the off-field activities of the club always seem to put us back a step.

I can honestly see a world in say a hundred years time having put a blanket ban on social media as its fucking poison and is dumbing the human race down at best and leading us to war at worst.

What's an academic these days? Actually, what is a conversation? Why have a debate and dialogue when you can tweet? Presidential approval and all that jazz, with emojiz (deliberate error). The next James Bond movie is conducted entirely on Instagram and Facebook.

we're slowly becoming the humans from wall-E. devoid of human interaction, relying on a screen to keep us entertained. overweight and tired.

Terminated!

SportBusiness understands City officials immediately asked for the post to be removed once they were made aware of it. The club resisted revealing PHD was responsible for the campaign but has subsequently terminated its relationship with the agency on the basis that it didn’t take responsibility for its actions.

PHD Manchester, managing director Jon Kershaw said in a statement: “The brief we issued to a third-party supplier, Tribe, fell short of the high standards that PHD Manchester is committed to delivering for its clients and we regret any negative impact on Manchester City FC.”

“We are reviewing our internal processes as a result of this matter.”
