Just need a little help in clarifying whether or not our owner has actually been to a game yet ?

Some doubt in my mind from yesterday's press conference, where Mancini said he met the owner in London.

Anyone know if this was Sheikh Mansour or was he getting mixed up with the chairman, Khaldoon ?

Thanks in advance good buddies.

He said owner once and then corrected himself several time's to say he met Khaldoon, but the press couldn't be arsed to let facts get in the way of a story.

He said he's met the Sheikh and he obviously has - 2 weeks ago, in direct contradiction to Cook's bullshitting about the spurs game.

To be fair to the guy though, most the City fans still can't differentiate between The Sheikh and Kaldoon, and English is their first language.

The Chairman is Kaldoon and The Sheikh is the owner.

But for someone who turns up straight away and has to understand the difference, especially in a different language, must find it confusing.

Well then those fans are either blind or stupid. The chairman wears a suit, glasses and looks like a business man. The Sheikh wears traditional Abu Dhabi dress and looks like a member of their Royal Family. The difference is there, if you look closely.

Apparently they met in Burger King at Terminal 5.

Mancini had a Whopper value meal and Khaldoon had the same.

Cook said he met Khaldoon on 7th in his espn rant as well.

Mansour being HRH and all that would not manage to discreetly get into london have a chat and leave without the police etc knowing.

Why can't you just watch the interview and accept what was said?
He met Khaldoon at the beginning of December, and not the owner...he got confused the first time but corrected himself numerous times.
This was EXACTLY what Cook said. Mancini met khaldoon for a general meeting/sounding out. This is called contigency planning, and I would be VERY worried if out board of directors did not have the foresight & nouse to do this.
The decision to change manager was made post Spurs game, when an actual offer was then made to Mancini.
All sides have said the same, so why bother trying to have an agenda against Cook?
Were getting enough shit from twats in the media without negative, unhelpful and unjustified comments such as those from yourself yesterday and today.
I for one have never been happier with a new managerial appointment (despite being a firm Hughes inner) and am very happy with the way in which we are being run...it was not intentional that a leak appeared to the media but we have dealt with itas well as could be expected - just a shame that the media have acted like this is the first EVER change of managers in the history of English football.
