Our support on here

Np with any of that. But do you want the manager sacking, players sold because they play shit in one game.... that's the shit on the matchday thread. Are you saying that's all normal and OK?

Afaiac that's the shit that needs binning. Iv no problem with booing, criticising, moaning etc... its the ott people who lose their shit, who almost seem to want to damage the club because they have to face utd fans in a Monday morning.
They're just opinions, ones I may or may not agree with.

But I wouldn't call someone an appalling fan or terrible City supporter if they did. On the matchday threads it's alway heat-of-the-moment reactionary stuff. People venting their frustration and anger at a result they found less favourable to the one they wanted.

Pretty much like this entire thread, tbh.

Could you imagine if we were still a YOYO club ? Sometimes you have to be very careful what you wish for
does anybody remember when the fixtures come out in June, we were saying how on earth are we getting the 40 points to stay up,

like I said in another post, Glory turns you into monsters and your football club goes out of the window,
it's a drug and once you're hooked nothing else matters. You demand more and more because you don't like the come down of the real world of a football club
I don’t think it’s the glory itself.
With us in particular I think seeing what it takes to win in this industry is a double edged sword for me.
The more shit that’s thrown our way and the more on and particularly off field shenanigans that are revealed in how, what was a sport I loved is managed and influenced, the less I like the industry we are trying to be top of.

I do, like others, find myself doubling down on the defence of the team though, so it’s extremely difficult to give the game up.

But my interest has waned in recent years just by knowing too much about a bent game governed by a cabal.

I didn’t say any of that. You clearly love an argument

I suggested we might be in a period of minor transition unlike the rags who have been in transition for 6 years without media criticism

Is it ok by you if I say that?
Well, you did respond to me initially with this line;

You actually think some players didn’t try hard enough? Trying hard doesn’t always = success.
I didn't even hold opinion on the other comment. So yeah, go nuts.

You think your perennial predictions of doom over the last few seasons have been rooted in reality?!
Not as far as you're concerned.

Best not to let complacency germinate.
I'm sure Pep and others read the riot act a few times a year. Not sure why people get their knickers so twisted when concerns and even criticisms are raised over things we've witnessed without own eyes - on a bloody football forum of all places
If we put or hands over our eyes and repeat lalalala - will it all be better?
OK - perhaps there is a middle ground but this mollusc, caravan circling at anything critical (doom ffs)!

Nonsense comment. We all have our own realities

Mine is that a supporter is there to support; ie encourage, often with blind faith, not to criticise for the sake of it

I have no problem with constructive criticism where somebody identifies a perceived problem, then comes up with an alternative solution

What I can’t stand is people just slagging off the team, individuals (sell this player or that player cos they aren’t this or that), slag Pep or the board, or even want rid of them when we don’t win or don’t sign the players a poster may want. I’m not saying that’s you btw, but there’s a good few who do

Last night, in my opinion, we got a very credible draw at an excellent German team who had won all of their previous home games in Europe vs English teams. Great result in my reality & sets us up nicely for the home game :)

Up The Blues
There is plenty if constructive criticism- perhaps it's how you choose to interpret it.
Your penultimate paragraph shows your lack of analysis imo. That's my interpretation.
Sorry.

True.

But his post simply chastised others who have a different point of view. By all means challenge the views of others but to rubbish any criticism as the OP has done is crap. IMHO of course.

This isn’t RAWK and people are allowed to moan if they want.
I saw really horrible pathetic spoilt shit on the match day forum last night. Posts such as “City are a joke club”. Many of the posts were an absolute joke, and the OP calling those posters out for it has just as much right to post his views as they do. I’d rather read his post than their’s that’s for fucking sure. I’d rather watch a City match with him, but I reckon posters like that don’t actually go to live games

"Our owners will be very happy at this stage of the season"

Maybe but I also think they will be looking over their shoulders are seeing the pack closing in, we clearly are going to see the Premier league becoming more competitive and more clubs capable of winning it and for that reason I think this summer we will see a big reaction from our execs in terms of a large refresh of the squad.
Teams dont win the title three years running for a reason, it is fucking hard , those moaning have lost all sense of reality ,our owner and board will acept that fact
