I enjoyed the Keegan days.I grew up with Keegan at the helm. I won't forget those miserable days. Every day now supporting City is a blessing.

There's another one from the 90s period...can't remember his name right now....There were far worse than Keegan mate. Alan Ball (RIP), Frank Clark,Steve Coppell,Phil Neal,Allison(2nd time) ,I'm an old twat and remember the ineptitude of this bunch. All started in 79 when rughead brought Malcolm back who was never a manager, took us 30 years to recover.
Confused at being both mate and ****.
Anyway.
Miserable? He got us promoted with us scoring 108 goals and getting 99 points as league winners, we finished 8th (our highest league position for a decade) in our season back up and last season at Maine Road beating United in the last ever MR derby, then we moved to a new stadium and stayed up the next season with a cracking win over third placed Newcastle at home… they were really good years!I grew up with Keegan at the helm. The promotion season was one of my favorite in supporting this club, great football, entertaining and hope for a bright future.Miserable?
