Years of training and experience in the Main Stand. We earned our stripes the tough way... The City way.

It's not easy to be miserable when City are on top form and you're sitting in a decent seat. It takes years of practice to identify the split second of shite in an otherwise faultless performance.

Main Stand FOCs provide a valuable service that keeps happy clappers on their toes.

Most of us on here can say they were at York away or whatever and therefore we shouldn't complain (or that anyone who does is entitled). My own claim for many years was that until we beat Stoke in the Cup Final, I'd never met anyone who was younger than me who'd seen City win a trophy in the flesh like I had.

The fact that we have been hugely successful shouldn't stop us from being able to say that (IMHO) we are currently not very exciting to watch and from getting pissed off when we do very little with the masses of possession we often enjoy. This season started with a bang and for various reasons has tailed off and we look a shadow of the team of recent years. Its so disappointing, particularly when we signed one of the best strikers in the world who in September was winning games in 20 minutes.

Calls for Pep to go etc. are ludicrous. I'm not sure what's wrong with expressing disappointment though.

That was probably the 1-1 draw (Varadi) late 80s (?)

Flood water/mud pouring down the terrace, ankle deep, horizontal torrential rain.

I drove home in just my underpants. As did many others I passed on the way home.

A proper day out. Even worse than Halifax (apart from the result). I honestly enjoyed football a lot more in those days.

Definitely. There’s something wrong between haarland and the rest, no other reason for not passing when making a good run. It’s happening game after game. Maybe they don’t like all the limelight he gets of the media.
