Our support on here

Our support is as fickle as the next team. Win it’s all great but don’t win and it’s a crises -:)

We have die hards and half n half scarfs. Tourists and twats. Rolling 24/7 news, everything in our face all the time.

Sports stations only interested in a a scandal forget the actual football.

Gatecrashing the elite comes with a price. We need to keep on slugging away. The club is fighting away and we need to aswell.

Rough times is city time. No matter what we all want the club to succeed. So vent away but stay blue.

Definitely. There’s something wrong between haarland and the rest, no other reason for not passing when making a good run. It’s happening game after game. Maybe they don’t like all the limelight he gets of the media.
Not with the team ethos Pep's drilled into them.

I’ve genuinely never seen the support on here be so negative towards the players and manager and I’ve posted on here for 15 years. It’s got to the point where 1-1 draws away in the CL are being treated by many as if we’ve just lost to bottom of the league. It used to be the match threads but now even the post match threads are just as bad.

People have become so accustomed to an elite football brand that anything below it is now leading to bizarre suggestions that the manager who brought that brand of football should now leave the club.

We’re 2nd in the league (2 points off top), in the 5th round of the cup (beat Chelsea & Arsenal) and in a great position to go through to the quarter finals of the CL. If I was reading some of the comments on here completely blind, I’d think we were having the season Liverpool are having. That’s the level of shit that realistically should lead to some of the comments I’ve seen on here.

You can’t be great every single year. It’s impossible. It’s why we’re the only team since 2009 to retain the title (x2) and why most managers get sacked the year after just one title is won. To win back to back titles for the second time in 5 years and to then be in our current position in the 6th year is immense.

Seriously guys, I can’t believe the absolute misery and unhappiness. If you’re so miserable now then you’re going to be in for a rude awakening when Pep eventually leaves and we have odd ‘really’ bad seasons like Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal all do. Back the manager and team because they’ll come up trump in the end. They always do and if they don’t win the big prizes, they’ll come back again and win them next year.

Edit - I expect the miserable sods to carry on their spoilt brat support act in this very thread :)
The most sanctimonious load of bollocks i've read in ages.

We were SHIT last night. Our supposed good half was only seen as such as they were sat back doing nothing, we were then absolutely gifted a goal, otherwise we wouldn't create shit. The second half was shambolic. To top it off our manager comes out and states he thought we were doing well and so thats why he didn't make any subs...That is based on just one of our recent games.

I said it last night and i'll say it again here. When a winger(grealish - who isn't even a winger really) who hasn't played in the middle for years now, has to drop into midfield to give haaland his only good pass of the night, something is seriously wrong. Foden is suddenly benched, alvarez ain't getting a sniff, haaland may aswell be on the bench for all the service our "system" is giving him.

Happy clap until we are chelsea? Is that your plan? Support is about more than nodding along to anything we are served up.
