Our support on here

Why do you watch City? Is it for entertainment or is it to watch the team that you picked or was chosen for you beat the team that wasn't chosen for you? It's evolved over time right?

Whether we win or lose matters the most to some, probably most people. But you want to be entertained right? You want to enjoy the spectacle? It's not JUST about the result?

Most people on here are mad, not because we're not doing well - they don't expect to win every game - we've won a lot of them this season. People are mad because we have this group of players and manager who've produced this incredible football - and weve added the best pure goalscorer in 20 years - and we're fucking turgid to watch.

Its not about "entitlement" or "spoilt" or all these words that are just bandied about because they make other people see that you are a true city fan (not you hellocity personally...but you know what i mean). Its about watching a team that could do so much better, be so much shit.

I think people on here bitching is essentially the rogue voice from the stands shouting "COME ON CITY". They want more. Don't insult their fandom. They care just like you.

Haaland was angry, Pep was angry… could see it on both of their faces on the pitch at the end. So there will clearly be fans who are too.

All people need to do is ignore the small number of very stupid posts and not reply to them and not dwell on them.

When someone’s talking bollocks in the pub, you don’t stand and argue with them, you walk off and think ‘I’m not listening to that idiot’, so why do the opposite online?
100%
Though I agree with the last sentence, you do walk away, but when one idiot meets another idiot it’s always fun to watch : )

The hysteria on ere is incredible, it’s half time in the tie and we have home advantage and an excellent record at the Etihad in the CL. People need to look at the overall picture and in context. The media were drooling about RBL & they are having a great season & current run, yet they only managed one tame effort in that first half. They where always gonna have a go in the second half, I just sat back with a frothy coffee telling myself a draw is a good result and one 99% of people would of taken before kick off, so in the end I was happy.
What we have to be wary of is dragging this negativity round with us all the time (look what it’s doing to the chavs & dips) and trust Pep and the boys will come good in the end, this ain’t their first rodeo. You can then have an inquest at the end of the season, Now is not the time! The window is closed, we have what we’ve got, and we are where we are (not too bad a place is it) Pep warned everyone this season would be unique, he sees and says things a long time before we even begin to notice, he’s not saying we’re perfect, he’s just asking for our support. I’ve got four kids and when one is struggling, we’ll give them extra support, sometimes at the cost of the others, well City are struggling for fluidity & consistency, it’s not clicking, but just maybe the fans could stop with the end of days attitudes and get behind the team for one final push

Anyone think the owners are happy at what they are watching?

It’s not about being spoilt, it’s more out of frustration.
In previous games there’s been a real lack of energy, movement and pressing.
There’s lack of passing to Haaland.
There’s certainly a lack of substitutions.
The frustration for me comes when you watch us in that first half and see how good we actually can be, only not being able to do it for 90 minutes and consistently.
That’s the season so far, not just tonight.
I’d never judge a fan’s support during or straight after a result that doesn’t see us coming away with a win.
Fans will be angry at this time, rightly or wrongly.
Yeah a small minority might go overboard but on the whole most are just venting and giving their opinions.
It’s been a poor season so far, poor by the standards we set.
Not everyone is happy about it, understandably imo.
Back in the day I would have given a kidney for a point at Forest away, now if we don’t win by three clear goals I turn into Kurt Zouma in a Cattery
