In fairness football supporters and well thought out isn't a description you will hear often, people are people some very negative some stupidly positive and most somewhere in between.
Its pretty easy to ignore a poster or avoid a thread following a defeat. I think we all like a good barney tbh.

I’ve got no problem with fans calling out poor performances or indeed tactics..
The problem is that many comments are completely baseless and Ill thought out.
Way too many WUMs allowed to operate on here, they need calling out and fucking off ..!

Absolutely agree with you. Easy enough to spot some but we also have regular posters whinging about anything and everything.
There are ways to phrase frustration and disappointment.

Why would anyone criticise this group of players ?
I like to think that us fans are part of the club and team. This team needs us now.
These players haven't had a real break/rest for over 2 years now. They are knackered both physically and mentally, when this happens the body gets more injuries.
These plays may look of it, slow, etc because they are mentally tied. The treble, four in a row is going to be mentally trying, after a very short break to pick yourself up and go again it's not easy.
These players have been bloody amazing and deserve support not criticism.

I believe some have perhaps come to the end of their team with us. That said I will still support them 100% thanks to them we have had a great run.

As for the matchday thread if they are City fans than most need to grow up and appreciate these players. I do think a high percentage on there aren't City fans.

Anyone criticising our team, players or staff are not true City fans. They have all been amazing over the last few seasons. If anyone doesn’t appreciate that they should fuck off and support someone else.

It's a forum. I never say a bad word about City or the players at the ground or in the company of opposition fans. But I'll give my opinion unfiltered on here and if my opinion is someone ain't good enough I won't sugar-coat it. The only player I don't have any time for from the current squad is Walker. Pep and the rest have worked miracles over the past few years. I do think our recruitment since the treble season has left a lot to be desired though and it doesn't make you any less of a fan to question it.

The club regularly takes the piss out of its loyal supporters. The Glazer statement on the official page, constant price rises, the simping for Liverpool and criticising our own supporters after they scarred a young girl for life. The lack of support for what our fans went through in Istanbul. The attempt to rinse disabled fans for car parking. Sometimes shit needs calling out and this is the best place to do it.

We've come the full 360, from being shocked at winning a match back in the day, to being shocked at losing a match in our current version of City.

Either way, it takes a bit of getting used to when it happens.

How did you get away from the stadium in Istanbul? We managed to get a taxi but whatever, my memories are of our great win & seeing the city players in tears.

As for Walker. He’s been a great servant to our club & doesn’t deserve to be binned off with such vitriolic anger
