Outpriced...

At the moment for me the prices are fare as i can afford it. If they went up again and again i would just cut back on something else so i can afford it. At the moment it is a tenner a week. Whats that 4 pints / 30 Cigs / Bargain bucket etc

I don't find our ST prices that bad at the moment but that's just me. It works out not that expensive per game. All the cup games on top of it are what what it harder for people I think.

By the way here is a list from FourFourTwo of season ticket (most expensive) prices from highest to lowest. Ipswich, Leeds and Bristol City are taking the piss, that's for sure.

FourFourTwo missed a trick there didn't they? I am surprised they didn't have City down as £2,500 (Superbia).

I suppose because Superbia was invite-only, and for comparison purposes (none of the other ST prices will likely include every match, home and away) they've used the highest priced Platinum ST for just the 19 home league games.

Haven't we been getting priced out for a long time anyway? A 40 quid ticket works out at around 27 quid an hour. How many fans earn 27 an hour?

Absolute poppycock.

Yeah, that's right cock.

I made the whole thing up for a laugh.

Good one eh?
Yes you probably did you rag.

Especially this beaut:

My guess is the club thought by Friday any City fan who wants one will have got one by now so said it's sold out to discourage united fans from trying to get their mitts on them.

Thanks for that.

Takes a lot for a miserable fucker like me to raise a smile during a boring shift at work but you managed it with that comment.

Reckon we're good for 3 points at Highbury on Sunday anyway.

Never said my ticket was £20, i said i spent £20

My ticket was £5, and although I walked to and from the ground I still spent £15 more, on a programme (as I couldn't name one player or know where they were in the league etc) and as I walked from my house to pick my ticket up early I didn't get the chance to have any food, to which I was bumraped in the concourse by an overpriced sausage roll.

What was I supposed to do: just sit there starving, not having a clue?

Football is overpriced regardless as you say, and although in comparison with other clubs City is cheaper - me personally I ain't on the same salary as someone living in London so when they pay double the amount for their season ticket - they are earning double what I earn.
