I think the point is that a number of fans won't be able to afford to remain there, and thus be forced to sit with the plebs on level 3.

I said earlier, if this happens the club should do what they can to offer people comparable alternatives. They shouldn't be put at the back of the queue with the newcomers choosing shit seats at the front of tier one or back of tier 3. Id assume that an increased capacity, and the relocations which will happen, will open up options.

started as soon as sky moved in, remember the first night sky game was us at Maine road with bloody cheerleaders, said to my mate on the Kippax 'football will never be the same again once sky get a grip' cant see it ever caving in but the lower league's will disappear or certainly become semi pro

For me, it will only be clear that the whole process is 'well thought out' if Level 2 continues to be well populated on match days. If it becomes just a mass of empty seats then, regardless of whether they've all been paid for, it will look like a shambles. Personally I've just about come to terms with the fact I'll have to move seats, and that it will be to an inferior location and that it is unlikely that it will be with the same people who I currently enjoy sitting with. On a positive, it will be cheaper than the current £825 I'm paying and that money can be used for other things (but is most likely to go towards some more away matches, but don't tell the wife). Whatever happens, and despite knowing I'm going to be a bit pissed off at the start of the season, it won't stop me renewing because Kolorov needs someone to get behind him when he's playing shit, and there aren't that many of us!

Providing there's a seat within everyone's price range then I'm not too sure what else the club can do. I sit in 109 and my tickets becoming a little too expensive so I'm planning to move. It's unfortunate as I'd like to stay where I am but that's the cost of football these days.

That said, ticket prices are far too high in general and it would be nice to see fans of all clubs get together to take a stand against it rather than sniping on twitter about empty seats.

I'd be interested to know how many fans would of been priced out if it wasn't for introducing paying by Direct Debit?
My 3 season cards cost 2 grand. It's only Direct debit keeping me able to afford it. If the club asked for the money upfront in July I'd be out.

The new prices will include access to a sports bar on level 2 concourse I believe so semi corporate. I can see why companies might be interested in a couple of these but for the long standing match day fan, these gimmicks don't really mean a lot.

I got the letter but I actually see it as a positive for me and the lad. I currently pay around £780 for CB level 2 padded seats and the letter indicated that we will get first dibs on the new stand. I am bored where I am, sick of getting dodgy looks for swearing and shouting and surrounded by corporates or families treating themselves. I have around 7/8 regular near me and I will miss the banter etc with them but not the rest of it.

I quite like the look of that new stand and if I can get first 3/4 rows in there for £599 a season, I will be happy with that. I might even go for the £299 ones at the back and then when I miss the odd game, it doesn't cost as much and not bothered at that price if it stays empty. At least it won't be seen up there!!!

It sounds like they are doing the wembley semi-corporate thing in some areas. Better facilities at a premium price. I've got every sympathy with those relocated, and I'm sorry for if my initial post to MCC came across as too aggressive. But it is a sensible business decision for a club in the modern era of the Middle class fan.

Whilst mate got front row of level two, that's because they were dating someone who worked in the ticket office who also got himself and his/her mates tickets up there too, even though they had been in the Platt Lane
