Me too, well I download it and listen while at work, great show, looking forward to hearing Kid Jensen later tonight. There should be more 70's covered on BBC radio imo, they hammer the 80's and 90's but other than Johnnie's show we are neglected.Agreed. Each Sunday afternoon I listen to Johnnie Walker Sounds of the 70's on Radio 2. Great music with interesting interviews & anecdotes about that decade. Musically the 70's was the best IMHO.

Lol, my gran who lived next door to us was the first to get a colour TV in our street. I remember you could only get colour on BBC2 in those days, and we all piled round to my grans to watch ”Call my Bluff”Everyone had fuck all then, we lived in Collyhurst flats in ‘71 we were poor but most people grafted and nobody had fuck all to nick from their houses. I remember a mate was the first to get a colour telly in 74 for the World cup in Germany, from Radio Rentals. Loved the 70’s but i suppse everyone thinks their youth was the best time to be alive.
