Mahrez through the middle would be good

That would be interesting to see. I wonder if his work rate would improve? Hopefully he will actually try and take defenders on as he used to do at Leicester.
Ball speed and movement off the ball with solid defending is what I want to see tonight. We will get chances, we just need to be clinical and put them away.

When Zinchenko came on the other day, didn’t he play on the left of the front 3? I’d prefer him in central midfield but maybe he’s playing on the left, with Sterling central and Mahrez right. Bernardo right side of central midfield (the KDB role). Foden left side of midfield, Rodri holding.

Got to win tonight and please, get Utd in the SF. We need some serious revenge for that awful showing 2 weeks ago. Young side with some experienced heads as well, should be a decent combination.

Sorry if I've missed it but any idea how strong they've gone? Is it full strength or have they rested a few?
There are a few names i recognise

Fosu and Baptiste are skilful players, Brannagan a hard-working midfielder. Oxford have quite a few injury problems and Henry seems to be rested as he's only on the bench. We've come across Jamie Mackie in quite a memorable game!

I considered that, and it might be a possibility, especially with Bernardo's ability in the middle.

Yes mackie was talking about the sergio goal and their part in one of greatest moments in prem history

Nice to see some of the youngsters getting a run out. Would have been nice to see Doyle, Bernabe or Poveda getting a game as well. But I suppose Pep didn't want to have too many kids in the starting XI.
