P.Diddy Jay Z accusations

I really do not see how you think my initial post was dismissive of the whole thing.
I was reacting to posters who seemed to be making it a 'black thing'
All sexual exploitation is wrong. Whilst this is a news story about black musicians it is, or should be, a story about the music industry and I'm not sure posters on here are are doing that.
I may be wrong.
I may be wrong, but I thought you said it WASN’T news.

Glad it is, because it appears those of us who didn’t realize depravity was normal to a certain sector of the society want it to be big news and prosecuted to the full extent of the law…no matter the race, occupation, or wealth of those engaged in this behavior.

It sounds like we’ve landed on the same page, so I’ll leave it here.

I hope they all fry.

It’s definitely a thing on ‘black Twitter.’ This idea that accusations against Cosby, R Kelly, etc are a conspiracy to bring down successful black performers. But then that’s Twitter for you.

Pedantic, at best, but more obfuscatory than anything.

I quote: “That's just ONE example of certain prominent figures still doing what they're doing.” This being said on a thread about Combs supposed child trafficking, which you equated to Epstein, and then included Clinton.

Spare me the BS.

Instead of crying about what I said, maybe examine the court documents. You will find names associated with Combs as there were with Epstein. There are NO direct accusations (except for Andrew under Epstein and who got to go back to the royal fold) yet.

So, wind yer neck in, and deal with the fact YOU don't and can't exact innocence any more than I can assign guilt.

Especially considering Mr Clinton had numerous dalliances as Governor and as Pres "did not have sexual relations with that woman" until his DNA happened to turn up on a red dress.

What did you say?

Oh yes... "Spare me the BS"...

No, it did not.

'Metoo' was started by a Black woman whose plight got very little traction until co-opted by Weinstein's victims, who were White.

Don't come at me, do the proper research on it.

I wasn't talking about the hashtag I'm talking about the media movement. It's right that Tarana Burke gets the credit but saying it was co-opted is your usual bullshit with a grain of truth.

I'm not interested in your obsession about making everything about race.

Crying??

Olympic level whataboutism that does nothing to change the allusion you made.

Yes, Clinton’s name showed up on flight logs. AND??? That’s it! Nothing.

You casually throw his name into an indictment of Combs, by inferring he was doing the same thing via his name being in a flight log.

I repeat…it is BS libel, unless you have much, much more.

And, I’m not saying he did or didn’t! I’m saying your tenuous link is shoddy, gutter “journalism” implying a despicable crime you certainly cannot prove. That’s libel.

When you say posters are making it a black thing I would like to see evidence of this. Did people mention hip hop? Yes. Was an indication of American inner city culture blamed? Maybe.

But if one can step away and just think logically hip hop is not the genre of African Americans only anymore and hasn't been for decades. Its still the largest group within the genre but if you hear a negative about hip hops influence on behaviour and think this automatically means an attack on black people then you are unfortunately guilty of doing what you fight against.

If the story was about say Eminem and posters said his lyrics promoted this or that would you be on here calling it an attack on white folk? Absolutely not.

On bluemoon we have called out men, women, singers, actors, businessmen, royalty, politicians. We are pretty good at calling out cunts and yes a few will have prejudices but in the main P Diddy is getting shit because of the alleged shit he has done. The fact he is black and a hip hop star is just the reality of the situation.

Facts may not care about your feelings, but I guess feelings do care about facts, after all!

The fact I point out a truth is an issue to you, clearly. I haven't made any of this thing about race, you have as you agreed what I said was factual, taken over by middle class white women

If you meant something else then it's on you to explain things better.

Most of my music heroes were junkies and offed themselves but at least they weren’t touching kids

Ever watched the documentary 'Look Away' on Sky? You would be alarmed at the stuff that went on back in the day. Iggy Pop even referred to sleeping with a groupie called 'Sable Starr' in a song when she was 13. She herself claimed to have slept with the likes of Page, Bowie, Plant and others. That kind of thing appears to have been quite common place.
