I agree...at around 11mil this isnt a big risk but will be worried if this is the only striker we sign! I will feel alot happier when we get Negredo signed...

Fair price. I don't know anything about this lad, however it's interesting to see that he's played for Pelligrini before, so one things for sure it ain't a gamble by the manager.

I can see us getting both of these lads Negrado and Osvaldo. It replaces tevez and ballotelli in the squad. It means Guidetti can go and get fit somewhere on loan. We just need to replace K Toure now and then I think we are set. I for one will make judgement on both these players once I've seen them play a dozen times. They can't be worse than Dzeko thats for sure.

Benteke scored less regularly than Osvaldo in his one season of note and would cost twice as much at least.

He's a good player with sound technique, but is a dressing room poison.
