Pablo Zabaleta as a DM?

Well I meant when Micah is fit and starts as RB, and instead of going with limited Nigel in a DM position we could use the more versatile Pablo. If then Micah would get an injury Zab would just slide down and replace him.

Ok, cheers. I can't recall ever seeing Pab play in that position so I'll take yours and others word for it.

Exactly, I'd be happy to see him play CDM.

Put him anywhere and he`d do his best and put in a good shift. Best position is right back though and only a DM in an emergency.

i'm pretty sure he's played right across midfield. As well as left and right back.

That's why he's one of our most important players. He's in reserve for at least 5 positions and i can't think of anyone else we have who can do that.

He's an uncomplicated fast slow player. And I get the feeling he'd knock it into feet earlier than NDJ does and get things moving a bit quicker. I'd love to see him there, personally.

I agree with many who thinks he'd do a great job as a DM, and it's quite interesting that probably just as many feels he wouldn't at all be suitable.

I mean, obviously had he been a better DM than Nigel, Mancini would have used him in that position. I hope...
I still see so much quality in him I would have though made him a very good DM.

As I said he is a great squad player, but in every position he plays there are better players at City
