He's a typical English fans player, runs himself to the ground and puts his body on the line. He wouldn't be half as popular for example in Spain. He sums up the main philosophy of the English game, you can run around for 90 minutes and be awful, but if you try we don't mind. Zaba is the level above that in the sense he has the ability to go with it.

Well above that. Supreme talent + work rate = Zabba

The boys from Argentina seem to have a different mentality to their neighbours. They Brazilians seem to have a laid back, ''Mañana'' type of outlook to life, whereas the Argentinians have a more, dare I say it, tougher, more European approach to their football. Maybe that's why they seem to adapt better to the more frantic style of football in England compared to Spain or Italy. where you normally have more time on the ball. I suppose the counterargument is that a world class player will adapt to whatever league he's playing in, Merlin being a perfect example of this. Whatever the finer points of the issue, I just Love the Zabster!

It sort of feels as if last year Zabba knew that his being injured could not possibly have been an option if we wanted to win anything. And thus, by iron will, he made it so.

Complete legend, I have a hard time picking a favourite player on this club, but if I absolutely had to I think it would be him.

Ermm...no

It's a bichon shi'tsu. I know I know, but it is in the biting the ankles phase, so it's apt at the moment.

When he gets old and off the pace we'll rename him Fellaini.
