Paedo murdered by vigilante mob

Acts such as this won't do anything to strengthen Sarah Paynes fight against paedophiles ........ quite the opposite.

All this will do is make the police think twice about allowing info on these people to reach the public domain ...... they now have a murder on their hands , and someone will have to pay for it ..... you can bet on it!

Haha, you daft bastard. What exactly is the correlation between the two?! I despair...

The correlation is that Labour's 'soft on crime' policy means that criminals aren't punished properly for the crimes they commit. The left wing mentality on crime is that criminals should be released back into society as soon as possible.

Let me repeat that this guy got 4 MONTHS for RAPING a 13 year old girl. Do you think that is an adequate punishment? Didn't think so.

Before you say 'how is that Labour's fault?', it IS Labour's fault. Government is ultimately responsible for prison sentences. Just as they can ensure terror suspects are locked up for 42 days, they could if they wanted ensure that paedos get more than 4 months for rape. But they don't.

Next you'll be defending Labour for the Baby P scandal.....which was a result of the same 'defend the rights of the abuser' approach to blatant criminality/abuse.

For the record I'm not a BNP voter far from it, and there's plenty of things I dislike about the Tories. But I can't stand the attitude of Labour, the sooner this bunch of jokers are kicked out the better.

Point of order: It's hard to know what his previous offence was since different people are saying different things, but most news outlets are reporting that he was actually convicted of 'unlawful sex' with a 15 year-old. Still deeply unpleasant and deserving of a longer sentence, but legally there's a big difference between that offence and of rape, which could account for the shorter sentence.

Plus you can hardly blame Labour for the sentence: they set down the guidelines for sentencing (say, for example, x to y number of years), but it was the judge in the case who would have awarded the punishment.

This is exactly why I do blame Labour for the sentence. Although the judge also needs to be held to account.
