Painting decking tips

As per title. I have painted all the fences and today its time to do the decking. All prep has been done as in i have stripped it, cleaned it, sanded it etc etc. Its grooved decking and i will be painting it with anti slip paint, 2/3 coats letting it dry for 24 hours in between each coat so im fully researched on that.

Now........can i speed things up by using a soft sweeping brush to apply the paint? Its a large 4m x 4m area and the thoughts of me on my knees with a 4 inch brush are not worth thinking about as it will kill me and i want to do this as quickly and as easy on my back and knees as possible.
If you are on your knees use knee pads. You will thank me later in life, if not straight away. Slap it on, make sure you cover everything but then wipe / brush away excess as you go. IMO it's outdoor decking and as such will not need to be treated with the same level of attention as something you will look at more closely. This is said with all due respect to @goatersnipple

the guys who put mine in said no matter how tempted I am do not paint or treat the deck, just brush it regularly firmly with a firm brush.

apparently painting it and you will be ballet on ice

I prefer to to spray linseed oil on new decking. Even old decking can be made to look new if you gently power wash it, treat with Sodium Hypochlorite (bleach) then oil. You can even add some tints if you don't like the "new" look. Much longer lasting, no peeling/flaking and none slip.
How long does the linseed oil take to dry. Is it standard BLO or something with other drying additives.
As a side note do you use creosote on your cricket bats? :-)

1.Burn decking.
2. Lay turf.
3. Buy the wife a lawnmower for her birthday.
4. Sit back with your favourite ale.

Depending on temp and sunlight and if it already has some oil 2-8 hours. We buy in bulk, and it comes in raw form.
None slip when dry. Leaves a natural colour/finish.
I don't play cricket!
