We dominated today, 76% possession FFS so gutted about today its unreal, on another day we could of twatted em 6-2 but it's not the 1st time that we haven't took a couple more of the hundred of chances we make...ref was 'spot on' today as the c**t usually is which helped matters. i'm dreading the derby, I really am.

It's not how long you have it, it's what you do with it, apparently!

Only the number of goals that you scored matters, not possession

We to go with 2 strikers?
It seems Mr Manuel Pellegrini does not know the system that win games

The 11th or 12th duplicate game this season. Massive possession. Fuck all done with it. Zero penetration.
Not enough pace. Not enough shots, Not enough dribbles. Useless crossing and awful corners and set pieces.
City have been analysed and the current managerial team has NO answer to the tactics being used against us.
Possession without penetration is a waste of time.
Nailed on pen denied but it would only have got a draw in a game we should have comfortably won.

Pretty much sums it up really. No need to wade through more pages.

More apathy from my end, odd having this feeling. It's like when our season used to end as soon as we mathematically avoided relegation in like 04/05 or something. Let's put it this way: it's been a while since I've not had passion either way when it comes to City

From Yaya looking overweight in pre season, to farting around in the Charity Shield. From throwing away numerous 2-0 leads to our lack of drive and energy, particularly when the opposition have the ball.
Too many attackers and attacking midfielders on the pitch, leaving us exposed and lopsided in midfield. Pathetic exits in the domestic cups and too much needless rotation.
Hopeless at set pieces, but vulnerable when defending the,

This whole season has been death by a thousand cnuts.

Amended for reality !!!

Not surprised. Dominating possession without a killer instinct.

Some players clearly not happy and/or interested.

the whole season has been a shambles.

cannot defend.
tippy tappy football.
tactics a complete joke.

manager a joke.

Seen the same thing happen time after time this season, and at this point I'm almost numb to it. Its like fucking Groundhog Day.

No doubt in my mind we need a lot of change this summer, and the manager has to be the first one.

Groundhog Day sums it up. I could almost predict tonight as so many other matches this season have been like this.

Getting sick to the back teeth of watching the same match over and over again.

The rags are due to do us but then again they are due to drop some points.

I would take a point now.

What a shit day, coach didn't get us here till 25 mins into the game. Same shit different week, passing sideways for 20 mins and then shit chip pass which leads to fuck all. Only kompany acknowledged the fans, rest looked like they couldn't get off quick enough. Huge shake up needed in summer, look stale.

I've wondered this for years now. Allow the home team to do what they should then catch them on the break rather than the other way round. After we get the first goal , tear them apart!!

The reason we can't do this is because our defense is fucking gash.

11 behind the ball should do it, it's what they do to us.

Strange he played this system last season and won a couple of trophies.
