Panic On The Streets of Tampa! / Hurricane Milton

I’ve had a few messages sent to me privately regarding the hurricane that’s about to smash Tampa and most of Florida.

As it happens I’m in Vermont at the moment - but my daughter is returning from Manchester to Orlando tomorrow so have big concerns for her and my little mobile home…..
Fortunately she won’t be staying there upon arrival but I do worry that my Smiths & Morrissey memorabilia are about to be obliterated…….

Hoping all of the Tampa Bay Blues remain safe throughout the coming days

Whenever Mrs Ewing and I have arranged a vacation we leave the keys next door - can yer put the bins out, and if there's billows of smoke coming out of the roof bugger what the fire brigade say, get in and save my City shirs.

The amount of loose debris that has been collected and piled up in the streets…to become flying missiles…is catastrophic.

With wind speeds anywhere over 100 mph, a simple piece of wood becomes a spear and any small piece of metal becomes shrapnel that can cut through almost anything in its path.

The newer slightly more southern track will help up in Tampa, but could be even more devastating to places like Fort Myers, Sanibel Island, Naples, Marco Island, all the way over to West Palm Beach up to the Space Coast and Daytona Beach on the east coast!

Y’all stay safe out there!

There are some absolute nutters...

That's one way of describing him. "Fucking lunatic" springs to mind. "Boats float", he reckons. A seven letter word beginning with 'T', and ending in "itanic" springs to mind.

This gets me...what "DATA" are they expecting to find that is different from the last storm they flew into? It's wet and windy. Or VERY wet and windy.
I reckon these are just thrill seekers.
