Paqueta Charged By The FA.

Slimey today wearing the Chiefs hat is covering the story for the BBC
In depth analysis lol reporting WHU lost out on the 80m pound move angle however no mention on City possibly having a case too on losing out on the acquisition
And surely this was an opportUnity for any investigative journalist to ask a question on the legality of the possible injustices of the 115 charges faced by Manchester City and they too having cases to hear

Yeah, that's never going to happen.

Not one individual from the Press or the broadcasting media outlets, are going to concern themselves with any injustice directed at MCFC.

The media will die on that hill, and they've made it very clear that they endorse the investigation into the 115 charges.

Even when we've been exonerated from all wrongdoing, the media will continue to cast doubts and the innuendo will gather more pace.

The premier league, the FA, the red cable and the broadcasting media, simply cannot afford to have a successful MCFC competing for the top honours.

It's just too big a threat to the brand, they couldn't possibly sell it anymore. The premium league was built on elite favoritism comprising of the rags, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea. These were the steadfast top four and (apart from Liverpool) shared the league titles between them.

MCFC came along and within three years the top four became the "big six" which was a monumental cock up for the brand, and it's why City have been accused of ruining football.

Once it became clear MCFC had cemented their place in the top four (14 years now) the red cartel and the premier league had to take action, and we still await the verdict.

Honestly, I think Paqueta has been massively hard done by in all of this. The way the FA have handled the charges against him has been an absolute shambles.

You can see the toll it’s taken on him during that time. He’s had to carry on playing with this weight on his shoulders, constantly under suspicion, when nothing has actually been proven. In any other line of work, you’d call it unfair treatment. Yet here, it seems acceptable because it’s football.

This isn’t about protecting the integrity of football, it’s about incompetence and arrogance from the FA. The FA move at a snail’s pace, make a public spectacle of charges, then sit on their hands while lives and livelihoods are left in limbo - it's wrong. Exactly the same with our 115 charges case.

Football deserves better than this shambles of an organisation running the show. Hope West Ham, City and whoever else take them to the cleaners.

Flogged to death this but for me the brand now exists in nothing but name
The delay is more time being spent on how the product survives and continues going forward
Trouble with City we are probably allowing them an escape route out of all this
Having said that we do have to have a league to participate in

Hmmm let’s say the FA or premier league knew about this possible betting ( spot fixing allegations) but were sitting on their hands and didn’t get totally involved until City approached West Ham about a deal for Paqueta..Of course all speculation but,I’m not totally ruling it out as we know the shenanigans they are and have been getting up to previously regarding other clubs..
That wouldn’t fucking surprise me one bit.

Talkshite were reporting the FA want to fine him for 'non coperation' as well.
they interviewed him without telling him the charges then said non cooperation
so fishing trip

in summing up shouty still implied Paqueta was guilty of what he was accused of

It is being reported that west ham will not be sueing the FA because it would not be right for a football club to sue the organisers of the competition as they have a difficult job to do !

Aside from a dig at City, just what the actual fuck do the grovelling useless pieces of shit mean by that ?
If the FA had conducted a thorough, professional investigation instead of some half arsed circus act they wouldn't be in this embarrassing mess now.

Guilty until proven innocent! Then, when you’re found innocent years later, it’s already ruined your short career!

If he had a deal agreed with City, and a fee was agreed, then he has documented evidence of a significant financial loss for which he has a claim.

The authorities, whomever they might be, should be required to keep such investigations a secret, without any names attached, until there is a finding of guilt. There is too much at stake with the average professional top flight career being six years…or one decent contract!

The fact that City were trying to buy him brought the investigation public The issue is why it took so long, it’s ruined his career and stopped him joining a club that subsequently won honours and cost him thousands in lost income
Edit That’s quantifiable whereas WHU lost and gained as it could be argued that having him they finished higher in the league and won the Conference League
