Parade?

Woah........no parade because we have 'only' won a double????

WTF planet are people on?

Not so long ago we would have been sectioned for even dreaming about silverware......we need to saviour every moment and never take our success and fortune for granted.....because one day it might just be gone again.

Get that fucking bus washed and ready to go!!
I think it’s down to the players. If we lose on Saturday they’d prefer a trip to the dentist rather than sitting on an open top bus pretending to be happy

It’s not so much what we’ve won or lost but the order. If we’d lost to Madrid and then gone on and done the double, everyone would be buzzing and in the mood for a party if we’d had a parade last Monday say.

Not to say I don’t think we should have a parade if we lose Saturday but because that would be the last match and fresh in everyone’s minds, the mood would definitely be more subdued

I know they hadn't won the league but Liverpool's players last year looked like they'd rather be anywhere else when they had their parade after the CL final loss.

No issue with no parade if we lose, it's going to feel pretty brutal if we don't win it.
Rodri said it took him 4 days to get over the 2021 defeat. it might be appropriate to have some sort of celebratory event, not a parade, once the players were in the right frame of mind. But by then they’ll all have joined their national teams or gone on holiday

Hope we're not becoming too entitled, no parades between 1976 and 2011, thought winning the championship under Keegan deserved a celebration. Now we are the top team in the country barring none surely we should celebrate. You can bet the rags would be having a town hall reception had they won on Saturday and Albert Sq was open.

A double is worthy of a parade in its own right, but to pick themselves up after the CL final to do it will be very hard and it's right not to book one unless we win on Saturday. I think the players deserve to be left to it if we lose. In the future they'll be able to process it and enjoy the double, but it will take time. And that's true for us fans as well.

God I really hope we win on Saturday!

You don't have to do it two days after the UCL if we lose - book it for the summer, give the players time to recover.

A double over United in the cup final and a threepeat of the league is the stuff that most clubs in history would never even dream in their wildest nights of achieving.

Im not suggesting we have one the minute we touch down, but a parade in a couple of weeks,if we do happen to lose on Saturday.....should 100% take place.
