The Queen pays taxes on her income despite being exempt from doing so. And the guardian? Avoided tax for the last 80 odd years - any comment?

A limited company? Sounds good.

Perhaps Chabal UNdertakings and Traders.

Or Chabal's Overseas Kickbacks.

What could possibly go wrong?

Haha. Nothing....

..until the Revenue get suspicious and launch a COK inspection. Then you’ll need to produce hard evidence that would stand up in court.

I can't believe people are whinging about Lewis Hamilton's private jet.

Everyone likes a discount, no matter how much money you have. I bet there isn't a single person on here who wouldn't jump at the chance to buy something they really want at a substantial (and perfectly legal) discount price; be it a Mars Bar or a new car.

Yes they do ....20% vat on everything they purchase, Fuel tax if they're lucky enough to own a car
Except for most food which is VAT exempt, utilities which are taxed at 5% and a long list of other items.

Basically most essentials are VAT exempt or incur a reduced rate so the poorest in society pay very little in taxes unless they consume a lot of non-essentials.

In fact, only the top 40% of earners are net contributors to government coffers. The bottom 60% tend to get more back in credits and benefits than they contribute.
