Paris Saint-Germain (A) - CL | Post-Match Thread

So where's the list of matches Sterling started and we won, or is it too long to type out?
It's probably the magnitude of the games in which he started we failed to score many goals

At the end of the day, take the facts out of it, we can all see sterling is not up to the same standard as the alternatives

Mahrez and Jesus are better on the right

Foden and Grealish are better on the left

Torres, KDB and Bernardo are better in the middle

Pep constantly gives Sterling the chances but he never delivers (anymore - he did season before last)

Torres should start down the middle for me... Give him the opportunities over sterling as FT has more potential and for me the better raw ability and future talent.

PSG defending at set pieces was more akin to WWE than football. Neymar threw himself to the ground more times than a centurion does prisoners and the time wasting antics really got on my tits. Idrissa Gueye probably man of the match and that says it all about this game for me.

It was an entertaining match but I'd rather watch videos of Holly Willoughby and image the fun I could have.... Must do better for the home leg.

I wonder what Sterling's current value is, Real were considering a 150m bid a couple of seasons ago. We wouldn't get 50m for him now, utter toss everytime he plays
We would get fuck all for him because of his wages. Nobody is watching his performances and thinking they wanna pay him £200k+ pw.

I thought the team performance as a colletive was better than PSG's but some of our key players fell short of the level we've come to expect from them. If that Bernardo chance went in I could see the game swinging our way. KDB and Mahrez can play much better, Sterling has been off his best for a long time now. He wasn't terrible but he's not hitting anything like the numbers he did a few years back on this form.

Their first goal was lucky, second goal was coming after we blew ourselves out looking for the equalizer. No shame in that defeat IMO. Not to mention they had 12 men, luckily KDB wasn't sent off. Even though it looked like he got the ball, if they really wanted to screw City over, they could have made an argument that he walks for that.
