Am I the only one who does not understand why people are angry? I personally thought everyone played well, we suffocated PSG and they did not manage to create anything. The difference is they have two 35+ goal forwards to take these chances when they come.

We've had far worse performances in Europe than tonight. Monaco, Lyon and Chelsea spring immediately to mind. It's our old failing of not taking our chances that's come back to bite us on the backside. Someone like Aguero in his prime out there tonight, and we wouldn't have lost that game.

And only managed a single goal in two others.another match where we don't score. 4th this season. Think we've had like, 7 or 8 last season all together. It's october.
utterly insane that we didn't get a striker.
One goal (a deflection) in the last three meaningful matches.

Their early goal allowed them to defend for 90 minutes if Silva would have scored it would have been a different story. Thought our legs went about five minutes before our second goal. Their not all that can see us beating them in Manchester

Also.. someone needs to stamp on Neymar and do some serious damage as I’ve never seen a player spend such long periods on the floor without being touched. I would be interested to see his reaction when he is pain.. as I and the rest of the world has never seen it. He’s protected. Fully protected..
Oh and Grealish should have stuck his finger up his arse at the final whistle and walked straight up to the ref and given him a firm long handshake.
We are miles better than them and I fancy us to embarrass them to the point of capitulation.

The early goal, against the run of play, taken as well as it was, killed us.
If one of the big chances in the first half had gone in and played to a draw we would be talking about a perfect European performance. Not sure how that Bernie chance didn't go in.
The small, small, small margins in this competition continue to blow my mind.
We missed Foden and Jesus's energy in the press. Foden looked lively when he came on. He's currently our best and most important player.
I think they're beatable, and if we get a result against them at home then there's still every chance we top the group.
That Messi goal. He's going to be some player, watch this space. I wonder if our scouts have heard of him?

Not to concerned about the performance or result. What is slightly worrying is that some of star players haven’t got going this season. De Bruyne Foden and Gundogan have or have had injury issues. But Mahrez seems to be regressing a bit and whilst I am grateful for Sterling’s contribution to our success he’s contributed very little in 2021. Still early days I know.
